Action Africa Needs Used or New Laptops and Desktops

Today, June 1, 2021, Action Africa begins its new phase of program development and expansion for Africa by expanding its Computer Literacy Program in Nigeria, operated through African Action on Health & Education (AAHE). Many more schools are expected to join the program in the coming months. As a result of this growth, up to 3,000 students are expected to participate in the program in the coming academic year. AAHE is truly rebounding from the ills of the pandemic.

To support this expansion, it has become strategically important to seek to provide an additional 500 laptops and desktops for the computer technology program. In addition, it is expected that another van will be needed for the operations and service team. This program depends very much on the mobility of staff and equipment from one school facility to another. This has been a mobile program from its inception. This mobility has given it its uniqueness and dependability. This entire initiative is expected to become self-supporting within two years.

The general public as well as other organizations, churches, private entities, and individuals, are requested to support this initiative which offers young African children the opportunity to train in computer and technology resources and applications. This way, these children are better prepared for higher education and training and to be able to compete in today’s world. This is about fighting poverty head-on! Action Africa engages in innovative non-profit programs. We need your support, now.
